You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Just picked up one of these earlier.
Wow.
Fully paid up Nintendo fanboi, but never owned an NES - SNES was my first Nintendo console.
Yep, needs an extension cable for the controller, but apart from that it's brilliant. A proper history lesson and wonderful games too.
I've really enjoyed loads of PS/2/3 games and some creep into my top 20 or so, but for fantastic gameplay, it has to be Shigs and crew.
And how hard?!? Thank God you can save whenever you like, or else many of these games would just be beyond me.
Still have my Game Boy Advance, DS XL, Game Cube and Wii. Donated the PS1, Dreamcast, original Game Boy and N64 to my neice who collects such things.
Also have a PS2 and PS3 connected up at home, but suspect that the NES will get more use than any of them over the next year or so.
Will have to pick up a SNES Mini at some point, Secret of Mana is still one of the best games I've ever played, so looking forward to getting stuck into that again.
Raspberry Pi3 has been my source of retro gaming, works with a PS3 controller too so no wires to worry about either.
Miyamoto is a bona fide creative genius. Â He has given me as much pleasure as some of my favourite authors and musicians. I have spent countless happy hours playing his games with my brother and later my sons. Â I would love to meet him and thank him.
