im looking for some long distance trail running shoes, seen some good looking acg ones - the chang for example, but im not sure if they are 'serious' shoes.

anyone have any experience of the ACG shoes?

ta

They're fine & they are 'serious' shoes - as long as you stay away from the cheaper end of their range, some thought has gone into the products & how they're made, etc.

I'm sure my old Nikes were ACG and they were great shoes, sadly Nike true to form discontinued them after a year. I'm in Inov8's now, but the Nikes were a better long distance trail shoe.

Just noticed that the Nike sandal things I'm wearing are ACG. Had them ages and have been running in them (weather permiting)

Get what fits your feet not what looks best

Go to a running shop with a good selection that can check your gait
It's slightly less important off road given the natural cushioning but you can easily do some painful damage if the shoes aren't designed for your particular running style.

Had mine about 2 years, fit into DMR V8's quite well.

Can't seem to kill them.
