Wife wants a chest mounted light for evening plodding.

Something rechargeable and bright, recommendations?

Decathlon. It’s not super bright but more than good enough for plodding in the road.

This one is a bit more money, but a lot brighter.

I've got one of those £30 Decathlon chest lights.
It's good.
If the more expensive one has a wider beam then I'd be tempted to go for that as the beam on the cheaper on is quite narrow and it noticeably wags as you run. A wider beam would still wag, but the central area should stay better illuminated.

I used to use 2 petzl tikka cores, one on my head and one round my waist. I found 2 light sources were better for not flattening rough ground off road.

If she’s running on flat straight roads a chest light will be fine .

If she wants to run off road uk hill down dale and around corners they are shite 😁

I imagine it's similar to riding. Road only: on the bars. Need more: something on the head.

just for street running as the council new led lights dont give as much light throw and to be seen.

no she doesn't want a head torch

so far its decathlon, amazon lights full of mixed reviews hard to gauge what's true what's not

I've got the cheaper Decathlon one. MarkyG82 has it.
