My old housemate would go out clubbing and take vast quantities of speed and MDMA, then when he got home and wanted to go to sleep would neck an entire bottle of night nurse, usually with a few brandy’s

It's my understanding that it's due to the decongestant in it, which can cause rebound headaches from medication overuse.
A bottle of Night Nurse gives me about 7 doses. A cold usually lasts 7 days. I have never restricted myself to 3 nights.

When I worked 7 nights on the trot in the prison service I had it 7 mornings on the bounce, & I didn’t even have cold.

Thanks TJ. Kind of hoping that three days on it, one day off and then back on would be ok, as it provides a break from possible addiction.
