Random but….
I’ve never skateboarded in my life but I have a big heavy old pine chest of drawers and in a “stolen from Pinterest” thing I’d like to swap the handles for old colourful skateboard wheels just cos it looks cool and colourful.
Other than eBay which seems to be 30/40 quid a set (!) does anyone know anywhere to acquire them cheap?!

Unless you can track down someone willing to part with a set, I doubt you’ll find many. While most decks these days have relatively small wheels, longboards usually have the bigger diameter wheels, so people just replace the bearings and keep using them, as they do last a long time.

I’ve got a set of blue Kryptonics on an old board upstairs, and my brother has an old board somewhere with a set of Powell Peralta Bones on, which are mine, and I’d like back sometime, ‘cos they’d fit my longboard, as will the Kryptonics, so they’re not going anywhere.

What kind do you mean? I've got a few old pairs of wheels but have never thought they'd look good on anything other than a skateboard

MY old board has Sims Comp IIs - green, red, blue, yellow... also a set of orange Z-Flex.

Facebook marketplace seems to have loads of skateboards around a tenner... buy a few and strip the wheels off?

6 wheels for £10 -

😀

You could go in your local skate shop and say you'll pay ??? (I'd have thought £5-£10/set sounds reasonable?) for any wheels their skaters have flatspotted.
