Any suggestions?
Ms Spanner works in Rishton, between Blackburn and Burnley and I'm based in Hebden at the mo.
Have had a look in Cliviger, which is nice, Worsthorne and Hurstwood even more so but might be a bit pricey for us.
Just had a look in Burnley this afternoon, back of Todmorden Road overlooking Towneley Golf Club - looks like a nice area, but we're not sure which other bits of Burnley are OK and which to avoid.
Any help or advice much appreciated!
Cliviger is nice, try todmorden as well
monty, currently in Walsden, but fancy a bit of a change.
North of Tod up to Cliviger too dark and enclosed, Rawtenstall awful for transport links, Hebden a bit too pricey and far away from Ms S's work, so looking like the Burnley area or possibly round Crawshawbooth.
Anyone got any more suggestions?
I am in waterfoot and can be in hebden in 20 mins, crawshawbooth is OK as well.
Stay away from Bacup/stacksteads its grim
Rawtenstall awful for transport links
There's no train link I know, but you're soon on the M65. Crawshawbooth's nice, but it's only just up the road from Rawtenstall.
How about Read(they have a Read library :-)), or Simonstone near Padiham. Very close to the M65.
I think I'd go with Cliviger.
monty, Waterfoot to Hebden in 20 mins?
What route do you take? Could save me a lot of commuting time!
chorlton, ta for the tips, will check out your suggestions.
Tis easy, acording to Multimap its 12.1 miles and should take 31 mins!
From my house on booth road straight to Bacup, up over to Tod then along the valley to H Bridge.
