Trying to find a nice deciduous woodland near Manchester to potter around on Saturday morning while the leaves are all autumnal. Any suggestions?

Back Woods and Great Woods in Broadbottom, nice scenery plus the remains of the old cotton factory including some very deep dye vats to look at then lunch at Lymefield Garden centre, also Lymefield visitors centre for the kids with its little maze and adventure playground nearby.
