Morning All,
Planning on a little escape to the wilds of Wales somewhere in March and looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights for two. The rough plan is to head up Snowdon, find a nice lake for a bimble around or perhaps the zip wire at Ffestiniog or maybe the slate caverns. Somewhere nice for food would be good too.
Cottages.com, so much choice and cheap at this time of year. If you've got a Tesco card you can also get money off with your points. Recently we've stayed in betwsycoed, bleanau festiniog and dolweddylan and loved all 3

Thanks Wrighty, looks just the ticket 🙂
Look at AirBnb. Our last 2 cottages in Snowdonia have been through AirBnB. lots of choice and easy to book for a couple of random nights if that's what you're looking for
I can heartily recommend:

Stayed there twice and you can roll down the hill to CyB for a ride too.
It might be a bit much for just two of you, but we stayed here for a week last year. It's a proper gem, so beautiful and tucked away, yet only 10 minutes from Beddgelert, home to a couple of lovely eateries Hebog is lovely, especially on a nice evening so you can sit outside by the river. We are going back in the summer for sure, we fell in love with the place!! The owners are lovely too.

Y Dowlod at Gelli Goch looks ace but no fire which is a shame. Good shout for Air BnB though, will have a nose 🙂
