I know, I know. This will be a SaxonRider, Pigface, and esselgruntfuttock thread. But I’m starting it anyway.

It good to see the Sabres doing as well as they are this year!

My primary support remains with Winnipeg, though. As always.

I’m a NY Islanders fan - it’s been a reasonable start by their standards

I will chime in and state my excitement that the Avs have exceeded my expectations so far this season!

Go flames go  (awaits the usual slump so we'll end up just missing the play offs)

We went to see the senators for the season opener vs chicago.

was a pretty good game, apart from Chicago winning of course.

Glad to see all these different names on this thread! Where have you been in past years?!?

Anyway, I'm glad to see that every favourite team mentioned so far is a decent one. The moment someone on here mentions they like the Lightning, I'm going to ask the mods to delete. I normally like teams without hating the opposition, and that goes for every sport. But when it comes to Tampa Bay, I CAN'T STAND them!

My rollerblades and quads had 99 on them. So just sorrow from me as I think about the Oilers.

Pens are not performing well, need Murray on form but DaSmith is holding his own, not to sure about Jarry.

I am in a state of shock, Sabres won 10 on the bounce and playing well, compared with what it has been for the last 4 years, I am waiting for the wheels to come off.

Flames are on fire! (for a change) but no doubt they'll fizzle out like Sweaman said. Pleased I got Premier back on a £5 a month deal. I'd just love to see any Canadian team in the finals, speshly The Flames &/or The Oilers cos I saw them play when I was there in 2000.

I watched 'Ice Guardians' on Nettyflix the other night after a recommendation on here. OOSHH!

Just in case anyone doesn't know the Freesports channel (95 on freeview) tends to show several games a week. Obviously time difference makes it a challenge  but weekend afternoon games are usually on at sensible times. Ducks @ Capitals is on right now.

Sabres lost 4 on the bounce but 2 were in OT, and 3 on the road. Still happy.

Shocked how well the Leafs are doing, I guess you can’t trust anything anymore 😂
