I prefer a smaller form factor (got One S rather than One X).
Not bothered about video performance or masses of music/video/photos.
Good camera would be a high priority.
Must have room for installing a good selection of apps.
What would you go for?
S4 mini is a lovely size/shape.
Nexus 4 and 5 are likely to be too big if you're coming from a One-S.
If you prefer smaller then the 5" Nexus 5 is a no-goer. Also, the camera is still shit, particularly with moving matter. A brilliant piece of kit other than that.
I wouldn't touch a Samsung with your spare willy, onion.
My brother has had all sorts of problems with them.
My 4 has been excellent except for Google music hogging storage with unrequested autoplaylists. I will pass it on to Mrs s when I get a 5 in the new year.
