Her arguments on prisoners' voting rights were...non existent.
I listened to her for about 3 minutes spouting off on how it was not fair that her generation (and that includes me) got free university education while today is has to be self funded. (I am a parent with one son at university and another planning to go in 2012 so I am fully aware of the costs!). I wanted to point out to her that in her (our) generation only 4% went to university. Therefore the state could afford to send people to university. Given that we are now trying to send 50% to university the costs will have increased and even in the good times would never have been affordable. At this point I was shouting at the TV and had to turn it off!
