I had my windscreen replaced today, having had it cracked by a road stone.
ive just driven home (half hour) and now have a weird headache, which i can only put down to the windscreen being like looking into a hall of mirrors.
Its parked, facing another car (a focus ironically, but thats irrelevant)
If you/I move your/my head/eyeline, up or down at a constant rate, the bird splat on the aforementioned focus, moves constantly, until it passess the eyeline of the driver, where it stretches slightly, and then compresses slightly, and then resumes normality
like in a bent mirror.
Does that make sense?
its only slight, but as i opened with, i have a bit of a headache now.
I wouldnt be bothered if this "crease" was at the bottom of the window, but its RIGHT on my eye line.
Can i call up mobile-windscreens and ask them to come and swap it for a NOT BENT one?
or is this just something cars do, and i should get used to?
it is a pilkington screen, so its not like its some cheap knock off
thoughts please?
If it looks funny looking out imagine how funny you look to other people looking in. You'll scare pregnant ladies, thats how it all started for the Elephant Man
