My 32" died, I CBA shopping around much, unless it's worthwhile? HotUKDeals had only a JVC as a hot deal but apparently it's a Currys in house brand (not a fan of that shop).

I don't use it for anything other than tv dvds etc. I'd go bigger but not massively.

It’s one of the most common questions asked on here. The most recent and detailed one is here.

Decide on budget, look at Richer Sounds website - buy whatever you like the look of.

Slight edit...

Decide on budget, look at Richer Sounds and John Lewis websites – buy whatever you like the look of.

Costco also worth a look if you're a member.

I spent about ten mins looking, decided there wasn't much in it. popped into JL and bought one that seemed OK. A year or two in and it has been fine. I like TV but I'm not a tech nerd about it.

Just got the Samsung 8500 43" from John Lewis with a 5 year guarantee for £400 and well happy with it.

I found AO had some good deals around Black Friday - beat Curry’s by £50 and the service from AO is much better. Picked up a 50” Samsung smart tv and it’s visibly better than the 55” year ish old Samsung hat isn’t Qled. Colours seem bolder, blacks seem darker and it’s a more crisp picture. I’m not particularly a tech nerd but happy with the end result. The Samsung Sound bar I got with it is also very good - was reduced to £120 and I got £50 off buying it with the tv. This wasn’t the advertised deal (should have been £50 off a much more expensive sound bar) but the website wasn’t clear on it so I rang up. They discounted the one I happened to be looking at over the phone.

I'd pay more for the same TV to get it from Richer Sounds. The TV I bought from Richer was cheaper than everywhere else, with the long guarantee and the best customer service in retail thats what I love!

Wouldn't touch AO or Currys with a bargepole, especially Currys.

I am a member but I don't have anuthing to do with them 😂

Yeah I hate Currys too but I just have zero interest in this and there dont seem to be any good deals around. Wonder if I should wait...
