In the market for a new TV. I have found this one which looks good for the price.

Recently got a PS5 so the HDMI 2.1 is a bonus. Is 120hz really going to change my life or is 60Hz 4k about as much as I will need?

However we are about 3.5m away and it feels like it would be a behemoth in the lounge and something about the 58 inch size would be better.

Max budget is £650. Current TV is 1080p so anything will be an improvement however I wouldn't want to replace for at least 5 years so to a certain extent future proofing is important.

Any other recommendations or suggestions?

Edit: Other issue with the one linked is that the stand is 80mm bigger than the tv unit. Current TV is wall mounted but with 400 x 300 spacing, whereas this one is 300 x 300 and the HDMI 2.1 port is in the back of the tv rather than side mounted so would like to stand it on a stand until I can decide the best way to mount it.

Realistically 120Hz 4K isn't going to happen any time soon on the PS5 (if ever), at least not if the game has decent graphics - the PS5 hardware just isn't good enough (I'm a PS5 owner and have it connected to a HDMI 2.1 TV but it was, as you say, a bonus rather than a requirement.

However we are about 3.5m away and it feels like it would be a behemoth in the lounge and something about the 58 inch size would be better.

That's pretty far so you'd def get benefit with a large screen for watching 4k stuff. A 65" TV does initially look a bit on the ridiculously large size but you soon get used to it so if you have the room and the budget I'd recommend it.

Not familiar with that particular model but mine's an LG to (and so was my last TV) and it's been faultless + I like the LG WebOS and always use it's native apps (rather than the PS5 or Sky Q versions).

I do like LGs in terms of their picture compared to others I have seen.

The other option would be something like this which is a bit smaller

The LG 65UN81006LB is in your budget and has a crescent stand.
