Wireless charging, what a great idea! Finally ordered the kit for my S3 and got going today. Seems to be fixing the bad habit I have of unplugging the phone then forgetting to plug it back in again.
Given the size of it I'd probably get a couple more and one for the car to have in the box by the handbrake.
I know it doesn't charge as quick and all that but it's a lot quicker than forgetting to plug it in!
It is a good idea, but...
I find it 'funny' that it's been used on electric toothbrushes for 20 years or more with barely a batted eyelid, but now it's being used on more attractive items (or 'tech' to use that really annoying Gadget Show word), it's becoming one of the cool things to have.
I'm surprised it hasn't been used years ago for phones.
I'd love to see it trialled/expanded for laptops too.
I find it very handy - have a wireless charger at home and at work and the phone spends most of its day sitting on one or another. I can't recall when I last had to think about making sure my phone was charged up.
