Friend has a New Zealand iPhone that was on a Vodafone NZ contract that they want to use over here for a while. They have stuck a Vodafone PAYG SIM in and it can receive txt but not send them and cannot call from. I assume the handset is locked to the original contract or something like that.
Is there an esy, and preferably free, way of getting it working?

If the above doesn't work o2 payg SIM is free and u get 10gbp free credit to get started. I just got one, it works, 20 gigs data free calls and texts.
