Exciting times, I'll finally have a shed with a decent size (10x12'), that is weatherproof and has enough head room. 🙂
Its a B&Q self assembly job (its actually one of their "cabins", with double doors and a single window and should be coming in the next month or so.
Its replacing an existing shed (8x6') on a concrete base.
So im going to extend the existing base to the size of the new shed's footprint.
Does the collective have and tips and suggestions for the shed build? Things to avoid / consider?
TIA
I'm suggesting the same again.
Buy a couple of sheets of rbar 6 x 8 and cover the the roof and walls inside. Tie all together and make the thieves job harder.
Side benifit, it's great for hanging stuff off.

Perhaps too late for you but Ebay is surprisingly good for sheds.
I expect mine to get broken into at some point. My plan is to make it difficult to just carry a whole bike away once inside.
The price for the shed is pretty good. Its THIS one. We got 10% off it on biddy wednesday @ B&Q.
Without being TOO complacent, where i am doesn't have a bad crime rate. Access is only really from the front of the house and the shed is located in such a way that nobody can really see in.
Obviously the shed WILL be secured well regardless, but I think rebar is probably overkill.
