The original was class but it dated very quickly and was clearly tailing off at the end. Will be interesting to see what they do with it but at the same time maybe should have been left as it was. Might keep Craig Charles in crack for a couple of weeks though.

It's going to be rubbish, like that crappy Back to Earth one they did, same old jokes recycled over and over again. They're all just getting to old for it all. The first 6 series were superb. I never understand why they never know when to call it a day.

1+2 were the best by far, very witty. 3+4 were still good, 5+6 I liked at the time but they got old much more quickly. The others were a bit cringeworthy to watch but the gags were still good overall I had to admit grudgingly.

I always thought the wheels started to come off when Rob Grant left. Still, fingers crossed.

Love Red Dwarf, I only had an old B&W telly in my bedroom when it started. I always wondered what colour Rimmers H was. I was so excited when I eventually got a colour telly.

I always preferred the bloke Holly, I was never too keen on the woman.

If you 'like' Red Dwarf on Facebook there are some pics. I think the set looks better then the Back To Earth ones where they seemed to try and make it film-like and too slick and it just wasn't right. Also filming it in front of a studio audience again seems like the right way to go.

Will still probably be rubbish but I hope not.
