Looking at getting a new laptop around the £400 mark, and I was wondering if anyone had any nuggets of advice.
Looking at either i3 or i5 processors with reasonable graphics capabilities. However I am looking for one without OS already installed as I have a Windows 7 disc and so far have only found Novatech who sell laptops without OS, anyone know of anywhere else?

id go for the i5 but careful the gfx chip isnt too compromised to stay in budget.

i doubt you will save much at all by trying to buy a laptop with no OS. most bargins will have an OS

OEM licensing is wholly different to buying retail copies of a Windows OS. You'll save, sure, but probably not as much as you think.

What you'll potentially save by trying to buy sans OS you'll lose by having very limited choice.

Get on to somewhere like Laptops Direct (www.laptopsdirect.co.uk) and see what takes your fancy.

Cheers
