So, I’m after a new laptop, when I say new, I don’t currently own one, my desktop is 8 years old, and hasn’t been turned on since February, so you get the idea of how much I use it.
Ideally, I want something I can play music through, browse the internet etc, really nothing too strenuous. The only thing I would like to start doing is some video editing, and to at least an ok quality, not one of these headcams on a fire road descent that youtube is full of.
Any good recommendations? Ideally don’t want to spend more that £350. Would like a CD/DVD drive if possible as well. Happy to buy refurbished or 2nd hand, and genuinely couldn’t care less about aesthetics or anything.
You'll need plenty of RAM for video editing, and a decent screen ideally. Generic advice is to go with 'known' brands, Lenovo / Dell / Toshiba / HP etc etc. Other than that, search back through the forum, there's been a thread asking the same question about once a week for the last six months.
