Looks like we need a new one, a basic steel up and over job.
Anything to look for? Or indeed, any companies to look at?

Try WM Garage doors - local to you. Did ours for a much better price than other local companies.

Is the door itself damaged? They get a bit shonky but it's usually the mechanism which can be fixed. Lots of parts available.

This is a good question. And in truth, it's muddied by the fact that the door itself was a right state before it broke.

Will try WM garage doors.

I 'm local and used https://lmsgaragedoors.co.uk/ and got a great deal on a steel folding door (they do up and over as well), well recommended
