Big fan of racing games. And with this i get to use the handbrake.
Loads of moaning reviews, and negative comments on the FB page but I bought it anyway.
I love it, playing on mid spec PC.
Currently playing the new Forza Motorsport, Its hard to justify a new full price game when all the Forza titles are included with XBox game pass.
I might give it a look when its a bit cheaper as I do like a good rally game
Liking it.
Looks great, playing on 4k
Long, long stages
A few crashes and odd bugs such as losing the force feedback intermittently and handbrake sticking on in startline mode but mid stage.
Best rally sim yet?

Not sure if enough content/variety to retain interest, not much in the daily/online offerings compared with DR2 and WRC-Gen. I'm not interested in an EA Game pass and shelling out every month.
I'm still loving Horizon 5...bit more arcadey and less 'sim' but it has it all, road racing, street racing, cross county and rally.
Almost 1200 hours logged so far!
Yeah ive been playing this and loving it soo far, May get expensive though as ive been looking at GPU upgrades as my 3070ti struggles to run my triple screens at a decent FPS . I don't think UE is suited to these racing sims ,same with ACC.
as far as racing games am currently playing the new forza motorsport and gran turismo 7 (just recently got a ps5). both games have good and bad points for me anyhoo.
i have a series x console and atm i don't think it looks any better than fm 7 (i don't have a 4k tv though i must add). i think fm7 is a great looking game so it's by far not a bad looking game just not the next gen they were saying (am sure they will update the game though).
i just bought ride 5 in the ps sale and am starting that (am a big fan of the ride games but not good at them lol).
i bought the iom tt ride on the edge 3 game but yet to play that (it does look very good though).
tbh i think the games companies are getting too obsessive about putting ray tracing in games at the expense of other things. 3 racing games i think look stunning still are project gotham racing 4 on 360, driveclub on ps4 and forza motorsport 7 xb1.
apologies for sidetracking your thread op.
Been playing this since Fri really like it, only issues I have had are some stuttering nothing too bad. Would have liked an easier way to just do a open free play, pick a car pick a venue and go for a blast rather than setting up a mini championship unless I'm missing something. Also shame there are no Special Stages.
Big update today- long list of fixes 😃
Hopefully will have the Buttkicker working now.
20 hrs in for me, normally Iracing every night so this has been a nice diversion.
i have I7:3060 ti but looking at a 4070 ti upgrade.
Had two Unreal engine crashes and a few stutters but nothing to bad. Read lots of others have major problems with much higher spec PCs

Project Gotham was ace, loved the early one at the start of online racing- Edinburgh, up the mound through the Grassmarket and past the job center behind the castle. Not sure what PG version, the only game I ever got the 1000 achievement points ( add on DLC ruined the 100% though).
Keeping an eye on it. Good to see there is an update. I'm running a mid spec PC (5600X/3060) so I might be okay. I'm not a fan of the UE.
I'm on PS5 and the update seems to have fixed the stuttering issues
Went to buy latest Forza MotorSport and Horizon. XBox One S/X only 😭 yes we are out of date but I can't buy packs for MS6 or H3 either anymore.
I really don't want to blow £450 on a new console while this one is still functioning well otherwise. 🫤
Pretty sure the boys bought a WRC game over the summer. Looks good but don't really have time to get to grips with it.
