Can we have a new feature, where the OP of a duplicate thread can consolidate it into an existing thread.
So often, someone posts a topical thread without noticing an existing thread on the same topic. It's mildly annoying as it takes a few posts and then gets referred to the original topic thread. So if they could consolidate their duplicate thread content into the original thread and delete their duplicate, that would be good.
No doubt there would be loads of issues to work out.
It would be ironic indeed, if this was a duplicate thread!
Could we also have lots and lots and lots and lots of sub-forums.

Just have a small numbr of threads, no new ones allowede, so you have:

CRC are great thread
Politics thread
What stem for my 29er thread
etc
