Lost our 19yo cat in June, waited a few months before getting another.

Here she is:

She likes to play ‘fetch’

I've never been much of a cat person but my late brother got a Siamese blue.. I guess yours is a similar breed. Really lovely cats but they do act a lot more like dogs than cats, really affectionate and very interested and intelligent. And very pretty.

If I ever got a cat I think I'd go for something similar.

Lovely looking kitty!

She’s a chocolate point Siamese, so a good spot there 🙂

She loves to play ‘fetch’ like a dog, with these foil ‘scrunchies’. Keeps losing them under the tv cabinet though!

She’s 10 months old at the moment. Very intelligent, but has a thing for shopping bags. Like most cats, she likes boxes too

Why the huge ears?

Why the long face??

I love me a fluffy kitty-cat, but that thing is butt ugly.

Happy new cat! She’s lovely!

What is it with cats and sitting in boxes and bags? Our two are the same. Leave a box open and one of them will be sat in it within minutes

I had a Siamese blue point years ago probably my favourite cat, very loyal and friendly but only to a few and had this skill of burying her deposits under earth very tidy she was

Feline laws of physics. Every box must contain at least one cat.

Lovely cat OP.

Got 4 cats here.

We had two Tabbies that passed away a few years ago (old age) and a Tortie that's 11 now.

About 18 months ago we got a Ragdoll, lovely cat, but very boisterous. Unfortunately, he got run over last Feb (we did let him out occasionally). All white with grey face/ears/paws/tail - a blue colour point.

Wife was gutted, so we got a rescue ginger tom - lovely cat but we found he came with cat flu - loads of tests for anything else nasty, but we had to have all his teeth out due to very nasty gingivitis. Roll on a few months and he was doing well, and no on-going issues.

The breeder was very upset, so she had the mummy studded and we ended up with two more ragdolls in July (another white one and a grey tabby coloured one - polar opposite of the white one). They are now 6 months, and the male is already bigger than the 18 month old rescue. We've had no re-occurance of the cat-flu and the ginger ninja is doing excellent - slim, but all muscle. We have built a enclosed car run, that goes round the perimeter of the garden, so the young three use that. The old cat doesn't go far at all.

Fortunately, they all get on really well, and the youngsters don't mither the old cat.

4 cats are far easier to look after than my sister's 7 month old Lab - now he is a handful.

Cranberry - love the bengals but they're plenty pricey pussies. Do you keep it caged to stop it being nicked?

Her brother and her are indoor kitties, mostly to save the entire world from getting turned upside down and knocked over.

The photo above was taken a couple of seconds after she was introduced to the cat cage on my 12th floor balcony - she threw herself at it and started climbing.

Which is one way to test the cage.

We have a big cat run, as our two ragdolls are supposed to be indoor cats (the fur gets right messy if an outdoor cat) but the run gives them fresh air and be able to go out - also stops them getting nicked - our previous ragdoll was rather too friendly.

We've also built the run for the rescue, as he has cat flu, he and our other cats are vaccinated, but it's not right to let a cat out that is a carrier/has flu and could infect more. That said, he hasn't been unwell at all since we got him fixed up. He is a picture of health now, all be it, no teeth.

We have 1" galvanised wire mesh on our run. Next year's project is to extend the run further. Thing is cats are still cats, so need stimulation, so you need stuff for them to climb inside if an indoor cat. Our run has lots of ledges, walk ways and slopes for them to run about. Also has cat friendly plants and herbs in it. Part of the run takes them along the back of our fence, with views over the fields.

The older cat, doesn't go in - she isn't bothered - she goes out. Ragdolls are known to be a bit 'stupid', our last was quite clever, but a cocky bugger, and that is what got him run over - he was quite a distance from the house, much further than our 'moggies' had ever been, and he hadn't been out until after he was 'done'.

This was our previous cat, Bobby. He was far too cool to play games with stupid humans:

This was during World Cup in Brazil, he was no more impressed with England than I was.
We lost him at age 19, earlier this year.

Siamese points can look a bit odd in photos, but they are very beautiful in real life, it's like they are not photogenic in pics sometimes.

We had a Red Point Siamese that liked playing fetch too, he was also the clumsiest cat ever regular fell off counter tops.

No longer with us, we now have a Egyptian Mau who thinks he is human.
