Our cam belt is due for replacement.
Years back when I had a new clutch put in my old car they said to replace the cam belt while it was in bits.
What else should we get them to replace while they are at it? Ford Grand C maxerati.
Water pump assuming it's driven by the same belt.
Water pump is usually a candidate when doing a timing belt.
As above, water pump. Check if there are any tensioners and idler pulleys as well. I usually do those even if they're ones that you don't *have* to do every time.
Also, accessory belts.
Probably been covered by the above, all the bits at that end of the engine.
Definitely belts, maybe tensioners and pumps too - bear in mind that whilst they're vital and will wear/degrade to some degree, you could end up with a problem on a new part or from the way the work is done, so not worth replacing things for no reason.
Depends which ford engine, OH's fiesta they did the water pump and I didn't question it. On My C-Maxerati (I'm stealing that) they were adamant there was no need to do it even when I asked despite being a variant on the same engine.
[edit] Just googled it, the water pump changed sometime between 04 and 06, it's driven by the alternator belt on both iterations but on the later one it's outside the timing belt so can be replaced without doing the timing belt. May or may not be the same on your engine.
Auxiliary drive belt...might as well while you're in there. You've got to remove it anyway to get access to the timing belt. Also do they still have the silly plastic water thermostat housings that end up leaking? well did on my old Focus? Cheap part so might as well replace as part of preventive maintenance too.
