Cool, rads are already TRV'd up and I replaced a few several years ago.

Othe quote from British Gas added 2k on the price. Price I payed was only a few hundred more than a mate could do it for me....but he was snowed under with work and couldn't have fitted me in for a month or two.

That's a reasonable quote, i work for a small housing association and our cheapest quote last year was £1800.00 per property and that was doing 30 properties. We use Worcester 28i Junior boilers and have been for a number of years as we get very few breakdown issues with these.

We just had a direct replacement from Combi to Condensing Boiler - no changes. That cost us £2300.

Why pay for one?

(I don't work for them but have been shown the technology they are using and it's convinced me)

Just pay for the installation is a bit misleading!

Half the cost of boiler replacement is likely to be the for the installation, the actual boiler cost prob only makes up half that quote.

Does that include VAT?

Seems a good price anyway. I have just received a quote for similar in Bristol which is £2700 inc VAT.
