I know the forks have to go which i can swap for my old toras. Then i was thinking an slx crankset. Not sure what wheel set any recommendations? Or any other upgrades i should think about?

Thanks

Does it really need it? Ride it and replace stuff that breaks.

Failing that, fork, wheels, cranks, shifters, mechs, cassette, frame...

Why did you buy a complete new bike if you are just going to replace bits?

Anyway, whatever breaks or wears out first would be my advice.

Wheels will be heavy as is the rear casette so either of those. Otherwise work out what gives you most grams per £ and do that.

I bought a complete bike as i broke my other bike and this is all i could afford with intention of upgrading later to what i want. And i know its not broke but why not improve something?

TBH RS Tora will not save much over the Suntour. Probably 100-200g max. Something like a Reba up front would save much more.

The wheels could do with some lighter treatment but probably sticking lighter tyres and tubes inside and a bit narrower then 2.25 will save enough to make the bike feel faster. If You want a complete wheels package then anything in the region of 1800g per set will make it feel lighter. Look at Bontrager Race Lite, Mavic Crossride, Shimano SLX or XT wheels. XT wheels weight only around 1600g and can be found for around 150-170.

Brakes are good imo. Nothing wrong with Strokers.

Finishing kit is ok and I would replace it only when it breaks or funds allow.

Chainset will save some weight as well. I was amazed how much lighter new XT HTII chainset was compare do my old octalink XT combo.

So upgrades depend on funds You have. I would start with lighter tyres and tubes as this is where You will feel the biggest difference and cost per weight saved is fairly low compared to other parts.

I like the look of the frame and i like the brakes. I'm even happy with the finishing kit. You've hit the nail on the head with the wheels however i like the tyres of that volume and speed just would like lighter ones. I already have some continetal verticals but ill save them for the autumn winter. And as for tubes i've always bought the 3 for a tenner specialized ones what tubes were you thinking of as in lighter ones mieszko? Its just everything else on it i will gradually upgrade.
