We've a 1.9x2m bathroom. Boxed in soil pipe in one corner.
Bath shower, loo and sink built into cupboard unit.
Full tiles floor and walls.
uPVC clad ceiling.
One towel radiator, 500mmx800mm.
No electrics.
One window.

I'm happy to rip out everything and replace ceiling, downlights and extractor cover afterwards.

Roughly how much and how long to get someone in?
Where to look for suites of decent quality?

presumably depends entirely on quality and location etc - i had 2 guys in for 5 days to rip out a v similar sounding bathroom, and replace with a large shower and combined loo/sink cupboard, tiling (effectively) 2 walls, replaced rad, replaced ceiling.
cost £5k in bristol (plus 500 on nice tiles), with decent quality fittings etc.

We were 2300 in materials for similar size bathroom .

That's with a uPVC celing , wet wall and fitting a velux / boxing it into the attic space

Take off the velux probably 1800 in materials for middle of the road.

I'm planning that I can rip out and skip, then recover the two stud walls in waterproof board myself, plus new board on floor if needed, in a weekend.

There's no moving of plumbing at all. It is fit new suite, tile and leave.

We’ve just had ours done, very similar size to you and it cost a smidge over £6k.
That includes:
Ripping old bathroom out
Skip
All fixtures and fittings including an electric shower
All ceramics
Tiles
Extractor fan and spotlight
Ceilings and walls plastered
All labour
Flooring

It took them 5 days with 2 fellas in most of the tome. They’ve done a hell of a job, if you’re in the Midlands I can give you a recco.

2 small bathrooms, one tanked, including handmade cabinets due space issues and a bespoke shower enclosure to fit sloping ceilings. Came in at 15k for 2, I did nothing other than source materials.

Also worth considering how long you plan to stay there and how nice a shower experience you want (god that sounds very Audi;), you say no electrics, do you need an electric shower, what KW capacity and size cable to route in? or just use a mixer, water pressure or pumped, nice mixers are good. Also budget for what you find when you rip it all out, old wood, old pipes etc, you will always find something....just watch Grand designs...oh and find a local recommended plumber and speak to them.

Ours came in about 3.5k same sort of size.

P-shaped bath, screen, fancy Mira shower thing. Fancy tiles (wall and floor) plus walls replastered. Massive sink unit thing and back to the wall toilet that actually goes back to a big unit thing and towel rail. New ceiling with extractor fan spots and Bluetooth speakers.

It was cheap because one of my mates is a builder who had a ‘spare’ fitter on the payroll and gave him to me for cost. It took a ****ing age (2 weeks) and despite being warned we’d be without a bath for 2-3 days it was pretty much the full 2 weeks. It was hell.

Also bathroom suppliers are all shysters and “next day” could really mean “a week”.

No electric shower needed - high water pressure and good Combi boiler. The thermostatic mixer shower is only a few months old so can be refitted.
I know what's underneath - just over a year ago we had a pipe disconnect in the wall behind the taps and shower (about the only plumbing I haven't replaced in the house). After the incident we had ceiling down below and a gert hole in the wall behind the bath end (from hallway, not bathroom). The opportunity was taken to replace and move a few pipes. Everything is on properly routed and secured pipes and new Flexi fittings to taps...

I'd do it myself, but it's the only bathroom in the house so it's a week away for the family post lock down and it has to be done in 7 days.
