Does Netflix share this info with others?
I'm watching a show on Netflix about a chess prodigy and in YouTube I'm now getting chess video suggestions.
Too coincidental for my liking.
I do use Google, I know Google own YouTube, I've really not searched anything about chess in Google.
I am on an Android device, but am hoping that is not a source of info for Google.
Anyone know?
Don't know but I watched Queen Gambit last week and now there's a thread on here. Spoooooky 😜
I wish there was a history as it would let me know if I've already watched something. I'm the same with books, oh that looks interesting, and get part way only to realise I've already read it 🙄
If you’ve used the same device then your Android device is sharing the information.
Admit it. You watched "Nymphomaniac" and questions are being asked...
@LONGDOG🤣. Even more strange, a good programme on Netflix!
FYI I've asked Netflix via chat and the response is no they do not share that data.
Drac, really, the Android OS on a Samsung tablet will collect data for Google?

You do know who the biggest developer of Android is, right?
I do, but am hoping, maybe naively, that neither Samsung nor I have agreed that in using the Google developed OS system it is agreed that Google can track everything I do on the device.
Oh you did.
Too coincidental for my liking.
Pick something you have no interest in, that none of your friends are interested in, and you've never ever discussed with anyone. Watch something about it on Netflix. See if you get suggested videos.
I've just looked and my Netflix history is gone !
And my continue watching list is gone .
Where did you last leave it?
Check and mate
Makes you think
