Yep, hence the question 🙂
I know I'll get spammed to crap if I sign up with both 🙂

It's the ideal opportunity to catch up with The walking dead.

Both can stream to iPad but only Netflix works with AirPlay (apple TV).

Ive not been hugely impressed with the catalogue on Netflix to be honesst. Its pretty old or just plain weird. There are some decent titles but unless it improves I can't see me keeping the subscription much beyond te free trial. Not sure how good Lovefilm is.

The streaming works very well though. I watched Requeim for a Dream on a train journey from Horsham to Peterborough and back with very few problems on a new IPhone 5.

Netflix is good for TV series like Breaking Bad, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Firefly and the occasional film .
Got bored of Lovefilm's catalogue.

A lot of the UK tv stuff on Netflix seems to be available for free on 4od etc. I have been impressed by the quality of the streaming but not the selection of material.

Gah! Too late with my reply! Just had the same experience myself looking for the walking dead. I think they may have it on garden copy to borrow but the streaming catalogue is pretty limited.

Netflix' selection has improved quite a bit IMO, used to be awful. It's still not amazing but worth a fiver a month or whatever it is. Works great on AppleTV.

If you're going to go for the LoveFilm sub, pay an extra £5 and get unlimited DVD/Bluray rentals. So anything that isn't available to stream, you can rent. £10 is what you pay for most on-line rental services, so I kind of think of the streaming as a bonus.

Thanks all.
As walking dead isn't available I'm canning the idea.
