This looks good
Hmmm! Time will tell.
Weak sideburn game on Mokey there. I'm ooot.
Pigsy doesn't even look like a pig. I'm oot.
Pigsy doesn't seem anywhere near rapey enough, and monkey could look more like a monkey, was Martin Keown busy?
Also lack of sexual confusion, but that might be my fault.
if he doesn't pee on the budda's fingers at the start of the show I'm not even going to bother with it.
Hmmm definately a tad more spunk in this version but does look interesting.

I'm seeing some popular Kiwi folk in that trailer.. has Taika Waititi got a hand in it? If so then I'm more than happy to give it a go.
^^if he has then it will be brilliant.
A quick google suggests no. Probably just a New Zealand based production.
Lets hope they do some bad lip sync non pc dubbing for the British release, otherwise it just won;t seem right.
has Taika Waititi got a hand in it?
That's what I was hoping for too after seeing Rachel House in the trailer but....no, it doesn't look like it is! 🙁
Gave it a go, thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's very silly but then so was the original.
Where did you watch it? i can't find it on netflix.
27th April release in UK. Search for The New Legends of Monkey and then add it to your list
Loved the overdubbed version as a kid. This new one looks bobbins.
Just got round to watching a few episodes, very disappointing, an opportunity wasted IMO. I won't be watching any further episodes. The biggest problem is the actor playing monkey has no charisma or personalty.
And no side burns.
It’s a bit rubbish isn’t it? I really wanted and tried to like it, but it’s crap in all the wrong ways.
In other Monkey related news, I think Netflix is finally showing season 3 of 12 Monkeys in the next couple of days. Didn't like it to begin with, but has definitely grown on me.
I thought it was alright, watchable.
I absolutely loved Monkey when I was a kid!
