In order to get back to work on the ship I have to go into isolation in a hotel for two weeks. We have to stay in our rooms, room service food, out for a spell of exercise once a day. Such fun.
What hidden gems have you lot discovered tucked away in the bowels of said services that might not have popped up in my algorithms?
Any games worth trying out? (Android tablet).
The last dance is a good watch, basketball based Micheal Jordan story
Go and search out Oats Studios on Youtube, particularly Rakka (really, really should be a feature length movie and its got Sigourney Weaver in it...) but there is a lot of other good stuff in there too that's a great antidote to all the generic garbage that Hollywood tends to push out now
I watched The Disaster Artist last night on Netflix, great film, one that leaves you wanting to know so much more.Don't skip the credits.
I'll be fitting these in around learning a bit of German, doing some body weight exercises, and a reading a couple of books.
Just found Dust on YouTube, short I dependant sci-fi films. Some good some so-so, some quite excellent.
Crime and corruption doco's are a staple fair (Dirty Money kind if things), any along those lines?
Here you go several pages to work through

Do not bother with Last Days of American Crime on Netwflix.
Truly awful 'doing it by the numbers' film.
If you have Amazon Prime then watch Little Fires Everywhere. Brilliant cast, brilliant series.
Tiger King is good on Netflix, as is Making a Murderer if you have not seen it before.
Trying out the Amazon Prime with the free month !

If learning German I'd recommend watching Dark with the original audio and English subtitles. Excellent series and it's always better hearing the original actors voices rather than dubbed rubbish.
Wisting on th`Iplayer.
I've just watched I'm Thinking of Ending Things. I think it's a film you'll love or hate or alternatively you'll hate it but keep watching till you love it or start loving it and grow to hate it. Or like me you might just get to the end and not be really sure whether it was brilliant or crap. The one thing I'm certain of though is that Jessie Buckley is superb in it, worth watching just for her performance alone.
The Tuesday Documentary and Storyville are all on iplayer and we’ll worth working through. This is a particularly good one
On iplayer... for a bit of a diversion from all the trilling dramas and worthy documentaries above... "The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk". I thought I'd clicked onto a kids program by accident - but its comedy made with same visual inventiveness as kids TV

Have a look at Juliet Elliot on YouTube for some varied bike content
Battlestar Galactica on iPlayer !
Been enjoying Cardinal on iPlayer, set in Canada but with the feel of a Scandi-noir show. Speaking of Scandi-noir, the 1st 2 series of The Bridge are on iPlayer at the moment too.
That Alan Partridge from the Oasthouse is class, even though I resent paying for something calling itself a podcast (on Audible). Best Partridge output of recent times IMO.
Have a look at Juliet Elliot on YouTube for some
varied bike contentvacuous airhead talking about her sponsors whilst trying to look as Insta good as possible
FTFY
Looks like Enola Holmes is showing on Netflix today.
Looking forward to it as I am a big fan of Millie Bobby Brown, she was definitely the best thing about the last Godzilla film.
On iplayer theres a new season of Mystery Road - Aussie crime with terrific sense of place.
On NowTV Babylon Berlin is excellent (especially if you're learning German)
Ebola was an entertaining film aimed at somebody a quarter of my age.
Millie Bobby Brown is excellent though.
Plus Helena Bonham Carter! What’s not to like.
