Off on hols and want to download some films and stuff from Netflix to the tablet. I know they expire after a while, and that expiry period depends on the thing that's been downloaded, but anyone any idea how long, typically, a film will last before it expires?

I'm guessing it's 30 days. I used to download a TV series and watch one episode every Wed evening whilst my nephew was at Hockey training. I noticed that old ones would expire, but I didn't have to re-download every week, maybe once a month...

28 days or 48 hours after you start watching them.

dont make the mistake i made, download a few films to tablet, sign out of netflix, jump on a plane, and expect the app to even open, let alone play anything. Need to stay signed in...

28 days for seemingly everything on Netflix, they give the same reason as Spotify, Sky, Amazon etc...to ensure you havent cancelled your subscription and downloaded a years worth of viewing.

I found when I went to the US I couldn't watch certain programs I'd downloaded on Netflix due to area restrictions.
