Anyone used a netbook and docking station? Our media PC has died after 6 years and I reckon it'd be worth getting something faster as a replacement - a netbook would be convenient with a docking station but would it be up to the job? Otherwise, I'd probably go for a laptop with dock.
Suggestions/recommendations please.

I wouldn't say netbooks are particularly good for media use - they tend to have relatively slow cpu's, slow grpahics cards, smallish hdd's and not much memory.
