Calling out to all of you who have some ideas as to a present for my Nephews 21st? Normally I'd be thinking of a watch circa £400 but I'm wondering if he'll ever wear it as lads don't much anymore....do they?

I've got girls, so not really up to speed with current 21 yr old Lads thoughts...so you ideas/thoughts would be appreciated please?

Watch would be my call, £400 will get you a nice Tissot. It's last a bit as well, if you buy tech or the like it'll be out of date on 2 years.

Or what about an "experience", a holiday, a trip away, something he'd not ordinarily do.

Offer to buy him a decent suit?

Job interviews & other peoples weddings sorted, which were frequent for me when I was 21.

where is he based, RA? If in Scotland, or Scottish descent, worth looking at chipping in to a kilt or part outfit?

Lasts years (still got mine from my 21st / graduation)...

'kin ell....I was expecting some 'unusual' ideas, but a KILT! 😯

Actually he's at uni in Brighton, part time DJ and Co op shopworker, so maybe a kilt would come in handy! 😉

Was actually the first thing I thought of...
Quite a common "big present" thing up here. I got mine as a wedding present from my wife. Still wear it 18 years later to all sorts of events. Saves buying a new suit for every wedding.
