Have any of the scientists/medics here got any ideas for a meta analysis that they're not going to use?
Everything I think of has either been done before (HIV PEP or PrEP, various new cancer drugs eg tamoxifen, anti depressants or anti-psychotics, malaria drugs etc etc) or they do not have enough data to perform a competent meta-analysis (eg everolimus use in breast cancer, bacteriophage therapy in multi-drug resistant infections etc).
I've lost that spark to draw ideas from.
How about something on the placebo/nocebo effect?
Oooh that's a rather interesting article mate, thanks a lot! Going to have a nosey around this subject!
I think I'll go back to basics and instead of trolling journal search engines for ideas, I'll go and read New Scientist.
If anyone else has some links to interesting news articles it would be most appreciated if you could post them!
