Need a new dog guard for my Qashqai - 2018 model. Anyone got any tried/tested recommendations? I have taken a look myself and think I'm leaning towards Travall at the moment. Vehicle-specific, looks very well made etc. Anyone on here had one of their products?

just bought the dog guard from travall, and the divider second hand from ebay. quite impressed with them. there is no rattle at all and feels very solid.

Lol ... sometimes I love dyslexia.

Why on earth would you specifically want a guard dog for a Qashqai ??

We fitted one from Guardsman to the Golf and its brill... easy to install and fits well, no rattles.

Travall guard fitted to a VW Touran here.
Using the load fixing points in the boot, the guard was absolutely solid.
10/10 rating from me, very well made.
That reminds me, I need to sell it as I got rid of the car a few months back.

ended up buying a dog crate for the car from transk9 after the pup chewed a lot of the interior...

Recently had a Travall one for our Kuga. Really impressed - a bit expensive, but fits perfectly, no rattles and works really well.

I find Doberman dogs to be pretty intimidating

Just taken a different approach with the current pooches. Travel harnesses on the dogs, secured to the load lashing points by all metal chain dog leads. More flexibility for putting seats up and down as needed in the S-max. Leads and harmesses stay clipped into the car all the time too.

I had a 'seconds' Travall from eBay for a work 308, it was better made than the car.

Thanks guys, definitely going with Travall! Anyone had experience with their Divider also? Here: https://www.travall.co.uk/divider - You can only use it if you have the Guard. Considering this too.

Thanks!

Travall and guardsman is solid, well made and good quality kit. It is also very expensive and I unnecessary. I have used it before but now use a Halfauds generic one with zip ties to stop any rattling. It works ideal, is easily removed and I do not feel like I am compromising on anything

I posted a similar thread a couple of months ago and bought a Travall dog guard. It’s excelent. Easy to fit, robust and no rattling. I can also still put the seats down when I need to.

I also read the thread as guard dog which is ironic as I bought mine to keep two Dobes in the boot đŸ˜€

Hi.

I have travall and divider in my 3 series.

Great and no rattling. The divider is to split into 2 equal halves but a quick bit of diy drilling and a strap off an old boot mounted bike rack meant I could set it up 70/30 as actually much more useful that way.
