Can anyone think of a really cheap direct debit I can set up on my bank account to ensure I get paid interest on my bank account?

I'm a registered charity, or could be. How much do you need to pay me?

I needed this to get £10/mth from M&S. I just set up a DD to Unicef for £5/mth so we both benefited.

DD to a savings account of your own?

Could you not just have changed a direct debit from another account to the one earning interest? Then trasfer the money from your bank to cover the dd, that's what I do. Assuming you have at least one direct debit.

DD to a savings account of your own?

Would that not need to be a standing order?

@GaryM Maybe, wondered that after posting.

What about Paypal, or would that not count?
