I think he was american and had a workshop that he used to build things in like chairs, cabinets and tables. Can't remember the name of it.?

Got my Axminster Table Saw turning up any time today, I'll have to YouTube some of his videos for some guidance. 😀

I find programmes like New Yankee Workshop absolutely mesmerising - i can zone out watching that, this old house and how it's made for hours on end...
