I'm having a bit of a brain block type of day, can anyone tell me what the tile type stuff (shingles?) under the top floor window in the link here is called? Not my house or one I'm thinking of buying, just an example 😀 . Also, does anyone know if the lead that's used to seal them can be repainted easily when it's started to peel?

Everybody will tell you that you can't paint lead flashing but I had some tatty lead on the front of my house and I painted it with some Dulux Weathershield Gloss undercoat. It seems to have lasted OK for about 5 years so far.

Indeed, he's a busy guy. Too busy looking behind green doors.

Yeah, thought the lead bit might be flashing but google images wasn't confirming it! It's been painted black previously on ours and is now peeling and tatty, but it looks like it might be a bugger to repaint as it would need stripped 1st.
