Trying to think of a bridge but can't remember where it is.
It is like the chain ferry of bridges. You get on it and it shuttles you across. It's an old bridge, the photos I have seen show it to be up high. Can you name it?
Transporter bridge on Teesside?
I think that is it let me Google...
Gerald ?
Bridges are female you fool!
biffins bridge - are you allowed across ?
I'd have guessed Transporter Bridge in smogland as well.
There's one in Newport, too
After some googling I think the first answer was correct. You win a prize of vast wealth. My college in Lagos will be contacting you shortly to arrange delivery. His name is Gerald.
Oooh where is that. Looks cool. Looks continental!
Looks like Spain.
Nice.
Errr, fools. FYI the Transporter bridge is now in Arizona (well, America anyway) cos some blokes took it to bits & sold it to some First Nation guys over there so they could get over the valley on their reservation without driving for miles.
I saw it on the telly ages ago. 🙄
Puertogalete near Bilbao in the Basque country.
There's still a pont transbordeur near Rochefort in Charente Matitime too. I saw it working in the 80s but it wasn't the last time I went past.
Edit: The pic didn't work.
Nice
Edukator that's a big ass boat for a bridge that flimsy!
QE II I reckon. We crossed on a little ferry boat.
