Looking for a nice couple days away for my girlfriend's birthday in May, looking for a nice spa hotel near the coast. Anyone got any suggestions?
Or, a cool place to stay near a spa perhaps?
Does it have to be be north Yorkshire? Did some work here a while back, it looked the part and stunning beaches abound.
Also the ship at Newton by the sea is a brilliant little pub and a great circular to walk to dunstanburgh then Craster.
Ah, yeah bit far that. Will be heading there from York but will want to head back to Manchester or Bristol straight after really. Looks nice though!
I think there's a place a Ravenscar that looks fancy (expensive). Never been in but had a gander up the driveway while ridng the cinder trail.
EDIT: Raven Hall. Not a spa, just a posh looking hotel with lovlely coastal views.
You could try Raithwaites in Sandsend, Pool, sauna etc and walking distance to the beach.
Never stayed but it looks lovely, and you're only a stone's throw from Whitby if that floats yer
