We're hosting a fairly chilled gathering.

Ooni pizzas and fondue, booze wise... blimey.... we're all big drinkers! So, Belgian beer, champagne, some good reds and whites, gin... there's only 5 of us 😳

Currently listening to Carole King, will let our friend take over the music when she arrives, probably Tom Misch type stuff I'd guess.

Happy New Year everyone

PLans are cancelled because everyone's ill, including me. Once would have been heartbreaking, now I am old I have to admit I'm half pleased. Going to do a disgustingly oversized thai curry and regret that, probably a couple of cans out of this belfield brewery assortment I have, get some 90s britrock on and otherwise do absolutely **** all.

My NYE plans have all gone to pot. Was supposed to be in the lakes with friends, however my GF has norovirus, she's stuck at her place and I'm at mine with no symptoms but just in case.

Currently watching Sharpe's Rifles and about to open a can of Zapato

Tea will be nice chorizo, veg, and pasta dish

Eating: Had a fab veggie dinner earlier (I’m not even veggie) followed by Christmas pud. Then took a cheese board over to next door…

Drinking: Champagne next door. Then Crémant de Bourgogne. Both equally good.

Listening: Was ‘Christmas 80s’ on Spotify, but it soon descended into Cracker’s Kerosene Hat (now over 30 years old!)

HNY all!
