Currently got constant muscle and limb aches and pains. It feels like I've done very hard exercise/weight training for the first time, only I've done nothing out of the ordinary.
It started last Thursday in my right thigh, then gradually spread. Thursday night I felt really rough and slept badly, had a bit of a sore throat? on Friday. The muscle aches spread to all four limbs. Friday night was bad too and I had stomach ache. Was going to call in sick to work on sat morning but went in and actually felt a bit better. Since then I've felt ok, in that I have no other symptoms apart? from constant muscle aches. I got called out at 2am on Sunday night and struggled to get my trousers on and even struggled to lift my legs into the car!! I've been off yesterday and today, due back in on Friday. Been out for breakfast this morning, thought I was getting better but it seems to have built up again.
I initially thought maybe Strep A, but the sore throat didn't amount to much. I'm assuming some sort of virus (no rash evident though)
Do I man up and wait it out a few more days, or go to the Doc's!? Wanted to go biking on Thursday!!
See your GP. Thursday biking looks unlikely/unwise IMO.
