My old(ish) Sidi MTB shoes - they're perfect, I love em!
Top quality uppers made out of some exotic animal skin so soft, perfect condition, just finally moulded to my feet after a couple of years, the sole's are stiff, not flexi or cracking - just high quality shoes. The treads though are / were simple things glued onto the plastics and have all now fallen off leaving me with a set of road bike shoes that I can ski down the rocky walking sections in!
Loathed to bin these and buy new especially as they are so comfy - has anybody else had this issue? I see that Sidi Carbons have new bolt on soles - wondering if these can be retro fitted? Glued ?? I tried gluing the old soles several times but it never stood up to it and last night the last of them left never to be seen again!!
Solution??
Failing any advice I guess I'l try Sainsbo's shoe repair shop and get a set of Vibram's glued on (or high heels!!)
