Got one a couple of days ago and have now powered down the house. Condensation is forming on the windows and control surfaces (remote for the tele ) and its very cold and uncomfortable in here and i'm never having a shower again (it went mental) but now its reading 159 watts! result. Could i be divorced this time next week?

I did the same and realised after three days of nagging the (teenage) kids to turn stuff off that I was turning into right grumpy old git so sold it.

I think most folk who are interested In reducing bills/lowering carbon footprint know what to do - you won't have any fun/friends/life running a house at 157watts for long!

Anything in the last couple of hundred watts is unreliable. I threw the main breaker for my flat and the monitor still read 150W.

I had a serious geek period last year and linked my monitor up to t'internet and was able to spot when my wife got in and put the kettle on. Also spotted some interesting peaks caused by the fridge.

I've got mine set to read out in pence/hour, I've never seen it below 6p, 0.06*24*365=£525.60 😯

Same here. Depressing really. The only think working the fridge and the computer. All lights off (just going to bed).
