http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/556341540/pressy-the-almighty-android-button

Pressy lets you perform any Action on your smartphone by using the most intuitive input – clicking a button – Saving you time and effort! Pressy is a tiny physical button that connects to your phone through the headphone jack.

Connecting the Pressy Button with the free Pressy app lets you easily customize and use your favorite, everyday actions. For example, if you use your flashlight on regular basis, set a Click-combination the app for turning on your flashlight and start clicking the Button!

Just seemed such a useful idea.

What have you backed at Kickstarter?

ive seen some of the "soft" schemes and just dont get it. Im notsure why Id ever back the production of a film, or a funky lamp shade. But the tech projects are ace.

Im also thinking of getting an Arduino for Stoner Jr and maybe some of the kids level programming kits.

It's massively behind schedule but it wasn't a huge amount of money so not bothered.

Switch your webcam off Stoner, or just put the baby's arm back on the doll. 😡

My Pressy has finally arrived!

Nicely made, good positive click to it. The app seems fine, but it's a "bit" limited*. I was hoping theyd put more functionality in it like a ITTT module or location adpative controls. Maybe I havent found it yet.

* that's a bit unfair, there are nine trigger sequences (short press, two short presses, two long presses etc etc) and with any of them you can activate media or an app or the camera or the torch or call someone etc. I think I might try and use it to start Google Now from a lock screen...

I funded Rideye, a bike camera that's actually quite good....apparently. It cost me a lot of money and is very late. 🙁

The Infection Simulation went tits up so as it stands I've lost my cash, it wasn't a huge amount but it's put me off.

I funded that bike light, See Sense. Got my bike light in time for daylight commuting, so haven't used it once! 😆
First one I got was faulty so had to get it replaced. I'm sure it'll be useful in the winter, or maybe the battery will be dead by then. It's going to annoy me, having to take it off the bike to switch it off every time, but hey ho, helping out small businesses.

Have you got your knicks Jamie? They look nice in the photos.

I've backed a couple of graphic novels, some tech stuff (Raspberry Pi UPS board, random carbon fibre stuff, etc) and I think I even backed a book.

I quite like the concept behind it.

Bell. It's lovely. And the Bike Book for the Yorkshire Tour, which was nice as well.

I've backed a few now.

Wahoo RFLKT+ - wanted a RFLKT and it was the cheapest way of getting one.
Imprint Lock-ons - still waiting, should be here soon
Zipmount GoPro mount - still waiting, should be here soon

and just backed Earins, totally wireless BT headphones. bit of a punt but we'll see.

I backed the Imprint grips. Hoping they will arrive soon. They have slipped back a month or so, but look like they will actually arrive at some point in July.

Imprint grips too, and the trigger bell.
Comfy hands and a cheery ring await.

See.sense lights. The back one is fine, but the front is so bright the flashing kills your night vision. This means you need to use it with an MTB light or use the frankly bloody arkward gesturing procedure to get it to work steady.

Batteries go flat fairly quick when not used as well.

I really should e-mail them this feedback I suppose.

I'm not backing this as I no longer need one but it looks good and a friend of friend is behind it...

As they don't LOCT anymore this looks like a great replacement.

I meant to back this, but forgot.

MagMod Flashlight accessories....

Could always buy one, but not quite the same as 'backing' it.

i was thinking about selling the LOCT i have stashed in the shed for future use and backing this instead. looks a bit neater and I like the fact it clamps round the headtube instead of the steerer.

pressy is interesting, but i'd want the action to be "play music" - but the jack is used by pressy.
