Does the tea towel suggest that they were expecting them to do the washing up too??

Well you are in Sweden what did you expect ?

When I was in Norway I got rotten fish.

Stank but quite tasty.

Peanuts in a school!!??

Looks like the peanuts were served separately, to be added by those who weren't allergic.

It's got bacon in it. Anything tastes good with bacon. Looks like the kind of concoction I'd rustle up after coming back from the pub with the munchies.

I don't think that's permitted. I thought peanuts were actually a banned substance as far as schools are concerned?

I'm disappointed that it's not the height of Swedish cuisine
Curry banana pizza

So, traditionally involves Italian seasoning and chilli sauce. I'm not sure how authentically Swedish this is🤔

Would that be classed as unacceptably racist in 2020?

Maybe in UK... But other countries don't always share the same views as the UK.

Are you criticising or commending the school?

It sounds like something I'd try.

In Denmark we have the classic scout camp dish Svensk pølseret, which is sausage slices (best if the bright red ones) in a onion cream and ketchup sauce with added boiled potatoes.

it sounds revolting

But it has bacon and peanuts in, 2 of the best foods in the world ever. I'd definitely give it a go 🙂

Hell, I had falukorv and potatismus for lunch. It was delicious.

Tomorrow I think I might eat at the office canteen so I can have the pea soup and pancakes
