Frankly, just for the lols

DezB - do you use any sort of online service that tracks the music you listen to? Might seem an odd question but I'd like to have a sift through the stuff you listen to!

EDIT: DO NOT listen to this at work either!

^^^ Rooooooooooooooooooooooood!

Er, Twitter? I follow folks (eg. the glitch mob) that link me to stuff, get a lot of it free... apart from that not really.

As far as the tracking - you mean like Lastfm? or something?

Loving this thread.

This isn't a video but it's an hour long mix by Cooh: metal vs. drum & bass. It's epic & properly grimey!

FTFY

Seriously though, the OP said - Something like these: The Proxy; Amon Tobin. So while I appreciate you consider those over-done, big ol' chords and same-old same-old shouty vocals dirty, it's the more club oriented shite that this threads about. 🙂

The typical dubstep sound is also very cliche.

Anyway I seem to prefer my dubstep the more abrasive horrible kind than anything tuneful 😆 That and the more ambient stuff. So I present three completely different tracks from one of the only dubstep artists I like

If you are a fan of Amon Tobin I should point out he is playing at Camden Roundhouse in June. A very rare live show, me and my GF have tickets.

Right.

It's been a while, but in order of importance, WINs are allocated as follows:

Number One win to Mister P, for pointing out Amon Tobin was playing at the Camden Roundhouse.

Oh My ****ing God. Incredible. I bought the CD on the way out, but how can I listen to it without the Bass Actuator For Chest And Throat and Visual Onslaught graphics?!

Number 2 Win to Dezb for posting so much awesome stuff, 'specially the Boretta and the Noisia. and the Darnce Frarnce. I love a bit of contemporary darnce, me!

And Jamie for the one with the concert pianist. and Thunderheist - jerk it. cool vid.

And chvck for the awesomez tracks and sorting out the youtube playlist. Minus points for missing the Boreta track though!

And everyone for the contributions, loads of stuff I've enjoyed here, this thread is well and truly favourited!

Any more... ?
