A few years ago I saw a band/guy called Engine7 supporting The Notwist at King Tut's. I enjoyed it enough to buy their album and I've listened to it quite a lot in the intervening years. I'd quite like to have more music like it but as it's not particularly similar to my normal tastes in music I'm not really aware of what I could try.
Does anyone here have any suggestions on stuff I could try that sounds like [url=
But Perfect[/url]?
A quick search of the all powerful Spotify tells me that artists related to Engine 7 are Crisopa and Z-Arc. A quick listen to both tells me they are very similar indeed. It really is too easy these days isn't it?
A curious inertia (or maybe a combination of cheap skatedness and aversion to getting adverts with my music) means I've not yet signed up for Spotify, so thanks for doing that. I'll check them out.

Clearly this isn't pub rock we're talking about.

No, but it was a very good gig, made even better by my memory of the poor second support act having almost completely faded. 🙂
Alan McNeill, the man behind Engine7 emailed me after stumbling upon this thread and sent me an EP download. 🙂 There's also an album ready to go, once they find a label for it.
The Internet can be a small place sometimes, can't it?
